Khaire Hekate Adamantea!

Unconquerable. Untamable.

The stories say Zeus honored You above all others. They also say he rewarded You for choosing to stand against Your fellow Titans by "allowing" You to maintain Your domain of earth, sea, and sky. 

I wonder if he could have possibly done otherwise.

Some say You entering the Hellenic mythology late because You weren't originally one of their deities means You couldn't be a Titan. I know You are strategic about when You stand quietly in the dark and when You step forward with a light.

"Unconquerable" and "untamable" don't always go together. One could be untamable without being unconquerable. Maybe being unconquerable is only an illusion if one can be tamed. I have no doubt, though, that both are true of You.

So many these days do try to "tame" You. They try to overly soften Your reputation. I say You are more than we mortals can fully comprehend. You can be gentle and nurturing, but there is a reason for it. And it's not all You can be.

Unconquerable queen.
