Prayer for Guidance and Healing

Hail, Mistress Hekate! Dark Lady! She who holds the torch and key at the crossroads!

Healing comes in many forms.

I do not ask to have all of my pain erased. Some of it is needed. I accept this. I'm willing to pay that cost. Some days, I'm even thankful for being allowed to pay the cost because I am thankful for the reward.

Not all pain serves me. There is suffering that does no good. It only stands as walls, obstacles, locked gates that prevent me from doing Your work. It prevents me from doing the work of other deities and spirits. It prevents our relationships from growing as they could without such harmful obstacles in place. I cannot offer what I cannot deliver.

Beautiful and terrifying dark Hekate, You know my suffering. You know the source of it. You know the steps I have taken, and what good they have or have not done. You know where I have been and where I am. I ask You to guide me to where You want me to be.

Heal me, Hekate! Unlock these gates and open these doors! Remove the suffering that does not serve me, as what does not serve me does not serve You!

Let those who stand in my way feel Your wrath. Let those who will not give me peace be hunted by Your hounds. Let those who cause me suffering know nothing other than the suffering they cause - not just to me, but to all they abuse and harm.

Heal these wounds, Hekate! I am willing to carry the scars. The wounds must be healed.

I thank You for the blessings You bring to me. I am grateful for Your very existence! I play my lyre for you and my soul sings through the strings. Beautiful terrifying Hekate! Most beloved queen! I thank You! I thank you! I thank you!
