All-giving. The source of all blessings. Hesiod said You were all-receiving. I understand why that can be argued with, and I don't claim to be thinking of You as Hesiod did, but I can see in my own way how "all-giving" and "all-receiving" can go together. I say that I give so that You may give, so that I may give again. In an agreement of hospitality, it implies that You do the same.
But how can You be the source of all blessings when their are other gods who give their own blessings? I think that question is rooted in a monotheistic understanding of things. And my understanding is more henotheistic than anything. You are the source of the blessings I receive. Even blessings others have given, I only was able to make agreements with them because of what I have experienced with and learned from You. I don't know what it may mean for someone who worships differently, but it is true that You are the source of all of my blessings.
