Healing

Glorious Mother Hekate, please look kindly on me. I need healing. We all need healing. You know the pain and suffering. The trauma. The illness. The damage we have done to ourselves and each other, and the long ancestral lines of suffering. We all need healing, Mother. First, we need to bring ourselves to a point of being open for it. I understand that. Many of us do. But we can't control those who don't, and all I can ask is that You guide them.

On a smaller scale, I personally need healing. You know how. I mean that on the level of "I don't want to say specifically because I don't know what needs to happen". I've been taught, in different ways and for different reasons, that one should be specific in prayer. I've also learned that the best approach isn't to try to change the direction a river flows, but to follow the flow and nudge it. And I know enough to be aware that, if there is some Greater Plan, I don't know what it is. I've prayed before that I want what best serves You. I need healing, Mother, but I don't know what form would best serve You.

Show me my roots.
Show me my crown.
From the stars to the grave, and all that is between.
