Prayer for the Newly Dead

Dark Mother Hekate, how could I look at loss in one family and not see it in other families? People die every day, and each one matters.

Welcome them, Mother. Please. They didn't all expect it. Even many of the ones who did don't understand what is happening now. Guide them. Comfort them. Assist them. Protect them.

They were loved on Earth. Some of them didn't know how loved they were, or still are. Remind us of them, Mother, so that they are not forgotten. And let them know they are remembered.
